International online conference HEALTH. SOCIETY. SCIENCE
The 2020/2021 academic year has brought many changes in everyday academic and administrative processes in higher education, but nevertheless various international activities are taking place. On October 22, 2020 a perennial Lithuanian partner university – Šiauliai State College, held the annual international conference SALUS.SOCIETAS.SCIENTIA. with rich and versatile programme. Due to the current epidemiological situation the event was held online, bringing together academics from all Baltic States and beyond. Three representatives of Riga Medical College of the University of Latvia participated in various stages of the conference. Head of Nursing Department Linda Alondere was a member of Scientific Committee, while Deputy Director in Educational Affairs Sarmīte Villere was a key-not speaker at the Plenary Session, with speech on Education of Physician Assistants and Emergency Medical System in Latvia. The conference work in sections was revealed by the video presentation of lecturer Ieva Rēķe with Changes in the Condition of Shoulder, Elbow and Wrist Joints after the Classic Hand Massage in Children with Spasticity in the Age Group 3–10 Years. The Conference Plenary Session was live-streamed on YouTube, while the section presentations are still available on the website https://svako.lt/en/international-scientific-conference-health-society-science for few extra days.
