Interreg Central Baltic project confirmation

Interreg Central Baltic has just released the funding decisions regarding education project applications in the Central Baltic region.
The Central Baltic programme received 92 applications for the third call; 26 for small projects and 66 for regular projects.
The applications have been assessed by the programme Steering Committee during 8-9 June. The Steering Committee consists of Member State representatives.
The Committee has approved 9 small projects, including CB625 SimE, where Riga Medical College of the University of Latvia is one of the partners. Project Simulation pedagogy in learning ethics in practice in health care aims to increase ethical competence of graduating nursing students. The idea is to enhance practice based ethical learning during nursing education with help of various methods. In this project will be developed three courses in ethics, awarding 6 ETCS.
The lead partner organisation is Turku University of Applied Sciences. Other partners are the Swedish Red Cross University College and Riga Medical College of the University of Latvia.
