
LU RMK hosts the second Erasmus+ Virtual Teaching Mobility
On November 16 and 17, 2020, Riga Medical College of the University of Latvia hosts the second Erasmus+ Virtual Teaching Mobility. Students, teachers and administrative staff of the Massage and Hydrotherapy Department met on MS Teams to attend lectures of Lithuanian teacher Darius Einars form Klaipeda University of Applied Sciences. Mr.Einars delivered two broad topics of human anatomy: Upper and lower limbs muscles. Origin and insertion of the muscle. Stretching possibilities. and Back muscles. Origin and insertion of the muscle. Stretching possibilities. Through the interactive visual material students received valuable theoretical insights, thus increasing their knowledge on the musculoskeletal system. The virtual meeting promoted the academic ties among teaching staff of both partner institutions, strengthening links between institutions and staff, as the teachers exchanged expertise and experience on pedagogical methods in the current epidemiological situation.
As the host institution, Riga Medical College of the University of Latvia sincerely hopes, that virtual mobility experience increased motivation and satisfaction for both teachers and students, and in turn will motivate students and staff to participate in Erasmus+ program, once the physical mobilities are possible.
