Nordplus Norlys intensive courses

The Nordplus Norlys intensive courses “Mental health of students and prevention of burnout in health care” organized by the Riga Medical College of the UL will take place at the Riga Medical College of the University of Riga from March 18 to March 22, 2024. Students and teachers from Denmark, Estonia, Iceland and Finland have arrived.

On the first day of the course, participants have various familiarization activities that introduce the country, its culture and the health care situation. During the rest of the course days, students already listen to lectures, participate in group work and continue to get to know each other in order to improve the exchange of experience.

Nordplus is a program established by the Nordic Council of Ministers, whose projects are aimed at strengthening cooperation between the Nordic and Baltic countries, improving the education systems of the participating countries and introducing innovations into them. The Nordplus program supports projects that promote knowledge acquisition, exchange and networking.
