Nordplus NordPCC network meeting in Copenhagen

The first meeting of the Nordplus NordPCC network has taken place at the University College Copenhagen in Denmark between 10/15/2019 and 6/18/2019. NordPCC is a new Nordplus Higher Education Network that brings together universities and colleges from Latvia, Lithuania, Estonia, Denmark, Finland and Iceland.

As the project coordinating higher education institution, Riga Medical College of the University of Latvia introduced the project management and financial issues to the NordPCC network partners in the academic year 2019/2020. Through this Nordplus network, mobility opportunities are available to university students and academics, enabling students to take part in international student conferences, summer schools, and clinical placements. Academic staff, in turn, has gained new opportunities for teaching mobilities across Baltic and Scandinavian region.

During the meeting, the project’s academic staff has developed an intensive course program on Patient Centered Care in Multicultural Society and its Ethical Implications (3 ECTS). Four students from each partner university are invited to apply for intensive courses during the spring semester of the 2019/2020 academic year, from March 23 to March 27, 2020. The intensive week will be held at Kaunas College/ University of Applied Sciences), Lithuania.
