Nordplus NordPCC network meeting in Reykjavik, Iceland

A meeting of the Nordplus NordPCC network has taken place at the University of Iceland from 9.08.2021 to 12.08.2021. NordPCC is a Nordplus Higher Education network that brings together universities and colleges from Latvia, Lithuania, Estonia, Denmark, Finland and Iceland.

As the coordinating higher education institution of the project, Riga Medical College of the University of Latvia introduced NordPCC network partners with project management and financial issues for 2020, 2021 and 2022. The project staff discussed mobility opportunities for students and teaching opportunities at partner universities, considering the situation in the partner countries affected by the circumstances caused by COVID-19.

During the meeting, the academic staff of the project reviewed and complemented the previous intensive course program, which was conducted in the online environment in the spring of 2021 and on the basis of it has created a course “Multicultural approach in person centered care and its ethical implications” for 3 ECTS. Four students from each partner university are invited to apply for the intensive courses that will take place in person during the spring semester of the academic year 2021/2022 from 28.02.2022 to 04.02.2022 at University College Copenhagen, Denmark, if the epidemiological situation in the partner countries is favorable.
