Nordplus Nordsam meeting in Latvia
Riga Medical College of the University of Latvia, on November 8 – 10, 2017, will host the Nordplus Higher Education Nordsam university network teacher and coordinator meeting, to collectively decide on the future priorities of the partner university network. During the project meeting, it is planned to create new intensive courses, defining cooperation mechanisms, pedagogical approaches and expected student learning outcomes in the field Health care. Partner universities are keen on discussing opportunities for mutual mobility of students and teachers, by updating the availability of clinical training opportunities among the partner universities in 2017/2018 academic year.
Since 2017, the Riga Medical College of the University of Latvia is the coordinating higher education institution of the Nordplus Nordsam network. The principles of Nordsam network cooperation is the rotation of coordinator every 3 years.
The Nordplus Higher Education projects include students and lecturers from the Baltic and Nordic countries. The program improves and introduces innovations in the education systems of the Nordic and Baltic countries. The Nordplus program activities are implemented by agreement between educational institutions and organizations located in the program countries. The Nordplus program supports projects that promote the acquisition, exchange and networking of knowledge.
